Our Story

Broadview Baptist Church began in its current location in 1927.

Over those years, our church has seen times of exciting growth and decline, hosting many ministries and social groups.

In 2017, with declining numbers and an aging congregation, we took a step of faith and prayerfully explored revitalisation. Later that same year, Rostrevor Baptist Church (RBC) adopted Broadie as a campus. A group of ‘adventurers’ from RBC joined Broadie ‘originals’ to help the community find its feet. The goal was eventual release as a thriving autonomous Baptist church, ministering to the inner north of Adelaide.

In 2019, Andrew and Rachael Foster and their family were called to Broadview to lead the community.

We are excited to be able to celebrate that our community, leadership, and ministry have enlarged to a stage where we have now again become an autonomous member church of Baptist Churches of South Australia & Northern Territory relaunched as Broadview Baptist Church in February 2025.

We remain as family to RBC and are so thankful to them for all that they have invested in us.
